What is Avais?

What kind of video can I upload?
One fixed camera that sees the whole court: a phone on a tripod behind the end line, or a GoPro on the pole. MP4 or MOV, 720p or better, at normal speed. Upload the whole match as one file; there is no need to trim it first.
How long does a breakdown take?
Skipping the dead time takes under 10 minutes from upload. A full breakdown takes longer, because a trained annotator tags every touch and a reviewer checks the match, so when it arrives there is nothing left for you to fix.
Which stats do I get?
Side-out percentage, serve receive rating, attack efficiency and points by zone, for each player and each set. Every touch also sits on a timeline and on the 3D court, so a number is never more than one click from the play behind it.
Does Avais work for indoor volleyball?
Avais is built for beach doubles: the court model, the stats and the annotators are all beach. Indoor volleyball is not supported today. If your program plays both, get in touch and tell us what you would need.

Yes. Free skips the dead time in one film a year, with 25 Coach ACE messages a month and 50 GB of film storage, and no card is needed to start. Lite is $9.99 a month to keep your film and skip the dead time in it; Pro is $39 a month for 3 full matches.
What is the dead-time skip?
Beach volleyball film is mostly waiting between points: a two-hour recording might hold forty minutes of rallies. Upload a match and Avais finds every rally in minutes, so your film plays straight from one rally to the next and a button jumps to the next one. Nothing is cut out of the file you uploaded.
